Best Way to Clean Laminate Floors Naturally

Have you ever regretted or maybe even cringed at the idea of adding or cleaning with chemicals in your home? Especially the floors you walk on? Something about toxins just doesn’t set well with some people. So here are some tips on cleaning your laminate floors naturally. I must mention though, we do not endorse nor do we suggest you do it “this way”..this is simply suggestions, ideas, & options you might want to consider when getting away from chemicals.

DIY Laminate Floor Cleaner

To a measuring cup or jar, add the following:

  • 1 part Water
  • 1 part White Vinegar
  • 1 part 70% Isopropyl (Rubbing) Alcohol
  • Few drops of liquid dish detergent

Homemade Heavy Duty Floor Cleaner

  • 1 cup of white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap
  • 1 cup of Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda
  • 2 gallons of hot water

*You can also add essential oils to your floor cleaner such as lemon balm or maybe even lavender.*

You mix these recipes in a spray bottle and use a microfiber mop head or maybe even a towel. If you have an old swiffer mop, then you could cut up your towel & attach it. The possibilities are endless! To clean or not to clean naturally is a personal choice, but whatever your choosing; always do your research & see what the best option would be for you!

Happy Cleaning!
