Gearing up for a more organized home!

It’s that time of year where you have brought out all your holiday decorations & just so happen to turn around to say, “Wow, with all of that stuff out..it looks so clean.” At least I did anyway..and as I was looking, I got to thinking; Stovers is a liquidation store & I am certain there are items in this store that could be found to help organize the mess.

So, for today; I am going to offer some tips on getting your home organized for the 2015 year!

*Crown Molding-

Crown molding can actually be used as a shoe rack. I didn’t believe it until I seen it for myself. You will need an 8′ base pine base molding and an 8′ crown molding plus white spray paint. Wood glue the crown onto the base molding, use a finish nail to hold in place while drying, spray paint white. To install, use two wood screws and screw in to wall studs.

*Tank Tops-

Shower hooks along with a dowl rod could easily be used to hang your tank tops in your closet. No more folding necessary. What’s even better is that you no longer have to dig for that one tank that your looking for! These hooks are awesome. They’re easy to open but still hold a decent amount of weight. Just find the tank you’re looking for, spin it around to that spot, open the hook and slip it off.

*Measuring Spoons-

Instead of grouping measuring spoons in a set, separate them individually & hang them on self-adhesive hooks, put like measurements together, then just open the cupboard door and grab the spoon you need. You can also do this for measuring cups!
