Bosch Home Comfort is pleased to announce the release of the new 3-ton IDS 2.1.1 (BOVD) model.

This model shares the same hardware as the existing IDS2.1 (BOVB) but is now equipped with updated firmware which allows the unit to deliver a higher capacity at lower temperatures.

The new IDS 2.1.1 (BOVD) can deliver 70% heating capacity down to 5 degrees Fahrenheit, achieving Energy Star V6.1 Cold Climate rebate criteria.

The IDS 2.1.1 (short name BOVD) will have a new model number and part number and will replace the existing IDS 2.1 3-ton unit in production.

There will be no change to the 5-ton IDS 2.1 unit at this time.
